Intel Northwest Science Expo Sponsorship Opportunities

The Intel Northwest Science Expo (NWSE) invites you to become a sponsor of our 2008 science research competition. 2008 is our 25th Anniversary year. The mission of the Intel Northwest Science Expo is to develop scientific talent and promote science literacy in Oregon and Clark County Washington students. The Intel NWSE is an Intel International Science and Engineering Fair-affiliated science fair held for 5th through 12th grade students since 1984. 661 middle and high school students competed in the 2007 Intel NWSE. Participants come from all parts of Oregon and SW Washington. Last year's awards ceremony was attended by over 900 students, teachers and parents. The Intel NWSE is a project of the Center for Science Education at Portland State University.

The 2008 Intel NWSE will be hosted at Portland State University on March 14th. PSU will provide scholarships for some of the winners. Additional awards are presented in each category and by many government agencies, businesses and community groups. The best of fair projects win an expense-paid trip to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in May.

All sponsors will be listed on our website, in the program on fair day, and in our press releases. Should you choose to become a sponsor, we can display your logo on our website and link to a site you designate, if you desire.
