Online Registration Error

Deadlines for Intel NWSE Middle School projects
Submitted by Stephanie on Wed, 02/10/2010 - 12:31pmToday, February 10th, is the first postmark deadline for Intel NWSE. The fee for projects postmarked by today is $5. This is a per project charge, not per person. The final deadline is March 3rd at which time the registration fee is $20 per project. See registration deadlines for the complete list.
College Credit for your Research Project

New name and location for At-large expo
Submitted by Stephanie on Fri, 10/02/2009 - 9:33amWe welcome the Gresham Science Expo which will take the place of the PCC Science Expo as the at-large fair. The GSE will be Saturday March 13th at Gresham High School. The at-large fair is for high school students from anywhere in Oregon or Clark County who are not served by another regional fair.

Oregon State Fair - Science competition

What: Science & Technology Competition
When: Monday 08/31/09
Where: Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, Oregon
Why: To foster Science & Technology education and innovation
Summary:
The 2009 competition will comprise of middle school students currently enrolled in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. The middle school grade competition will be a derivative of the current competition guidelines developed by Intel Northwest Science Expo (NWSE). The guidelines set forth by Intel NWSE were selected due to the familiarity and program awareness by Oregon Science Teachers.
There are several changes for the 2009 science competition. In 2008, the competition was open to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. In 2009, the science competition will be open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The categories have also been expanded to cover more competitive categories. In addition, the science competition will be entirely open-class. There is no longer a requirement to roll-up from a county fair.

Physical addresses & volunteer registration
Submitted by Stephanie on Wed, 04/01/2009 - 2:15pmPeter Stott Center is located at 930 SW Hall, Portland 97201. All Middle School events are there.
Smith Memorial Student Union is located at 1825 SW Broadway, Portland 97201. High School exhibits are on the 3rd floor. The high school award ceremony is in Hoffman Hall at 1833 SW 11th.
All three locations are on the Portland State University Campus Map.
Non-Judging Volunteer registration is open again, if you select a job, consider yourself assigned and check in at the Stott Center lobby. If you are doing a 7AM job at Smith report to the third floor there for check in. Please do not select overlapping job assignments.
