High School Schedule For Category And Finalist Judges

Judging occurs in the Smith Memorial Student Union on the PSU Campus on Friday April 4. For security reasons, judges are required to wear name tags through all judging events at the Intel NWSE.

 

8:00 AM

Coffee and continental breakfast available in 3rd floor judge rooms.

8:15 - 8:45 AM

Judge orientation in 3rd floor judge rooms. Finalist judges are selected.

8:45 - 10:30 AM

Judges view exhibits without students present.

10 AM

Special Award nominations are due.

10:30 - 10:45 AM

Judges deliberation, identification of Top 10 projects.

10:45 - 1:15 PM

Students interviewed by judges at their exhibits in Smith Memorial Center.

1:15 - 2:15 PM

Judges lunch and team meetings to determine awardees.

2:15 - 3:15 PM

Exhibits open for Public Viewing. Students are at their exhibits.

2:30 PM

Decision Deadline. Latest time to turn in Category Award Summary to Judge Coordinator for review. Head Judge takes summary to data entry. Judges need to stay until their results have been certified and the Head Judge dismisses them.

3:00 PM

Announcement of candidates for Best of Fair and ISEF.

3:15 - 4:45 PM

Interviews for Best of Fair and ISEF.

4:45 - 5:15 PM

Best of Fair and ISEF judges make their decisions.

4:45 - 5:15 PM

Exhibits open to the public and press in Smith Memorial Center.

5:15 PM

Decision Deadline. Latest time to turn in Best Of Fair and ISEF summaries to Judge Coordinators. Judges need to stay until their results have been certified and the Judge Coordinators dismiss them.

6:15 - 7:45 PM

Awards Ceremony at Hoffman Hall.
