Judge information for March 14th
Thank you for volunteering to judge for Intel NWSE on Friday March 14 th . Below are schedules for both Middle School and High School Category Judges and some information for Special Award judges. You will receive more detailed schedules and instructions during judge orientation.

Driving and Trimet directions to Portland State University are at http://www.pdx.edu/campus.html
All judges who choose to drive to PSU should park in Parking Structure 3 at 12 th and Mill. Parking is $8 for the day. Extra parking attendants will be manning the cash only booth. The metered spots will not give you enough time to complete judging.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CATEGORY JUDGING SCHEDULE
Judging occurs in the Peter Stott Center on the PSU Campus on Friday March 14.
7:30 AM Coffee available in Small Gym downstairs.
7:45 – 8:15 AM Judge orientation and continental breakfast in Small Gym downstairs.
8:15 – 9:40 AM Judges view exhibits without students present.
9:00 AM Special Awards Nominations due from category judges.
9:40 – 10:00 AM Judges Deliberation.
10:00 – 12:30 PM Students interviewed by judges at their exhibits in Peter Stott Center .
12:30 – 1:30 PM Judge lunch and team meetings to determine awardees.
1:45 PM Decision Deadline . Latest time to turn in results to data entry. Judges need to stay until their results have been certified and the Head Judge dismisses them.
2:00 – 3:00 PM Best Of Fair judging
3:00 – 3:30 PM Judges Deliberation.
3:30 PM Decision Deadline . Latest time to turn in Best Of Fair Award Summary to Judge Coordinator. Judges need to stay until their results have been certified and the Head Judge dismisses them.
4:30 – 5:30 PM Awards Ceremony at Stott Center Main Gym.
HIGH SCHOOL CATEGORY JUDGING SCHEDULE
Judging occurs in the Smith Memorial Student Union on the PSU Campus on Friday March 14.

8:15 – 8:45 AM Judge orientation in Smith 327-329
8:45 – 10:15 AM Judges view exhibits without students present.
9:30 AM Special Awards Nominations due from category judges.

SPECIAL AWARDS JUDGE SCHEDULE
Special Awards judges for Middle School should report to the small gym in the Peter Stott Center . Special Awards judges for High School should report to Smith Memorial Student Union, room 323.
1) If you are a special awards judge for an organized group (i.e. IEEE, Military, ACS, etc), your group coordinator will let you know when to arrive.
2) If you are a special awards judge who has not been assigned, please report no later than 8:00 AM for middle school and 8:30 am for high school. You will find a list of special awards to be given on the web site, www.nwse.org by Wednesday morning.
