Intel NWSE Middle School Registration deadlines
Submitted by Stephanie on Thu, 01/26/2012 - 12:58pmThe first registration deadline for Intel NWSE is Wednesday February 1st. Have your paperwork postmarked by that date to receive $5 registration per project.
Fees increase by $5 each week. The last day paperwork can be postmarked or hand delivered is Wednesday February 22nd.
All projects must also be registered online. Please include gender and ethnicity information on each student, it is needed for our grant reports.
Set-up for middle school projects is Thursday March 22nd from 5-9pm, students do not need to be present. The fair is Friday March 23rd, judging starts at 10am the award ceremony should end by 5:15pm.
High school projects must finish in the top third at their regional fair to be advanced to Intel NWSE. Contact your regional fair director about deadlines.
Judge Registration is Open
Submitted by Stephanie on Sun, 11/27/2011 - 1:01pmJudge registration is open for all Northwest Science Expo System fairs. Science fairs include the Intel Northwest Science Expo March 23rd and all its qualifying regional fairs. Just follow the frog in the upper right to register.
Judge Registration will open November 1st.

2012 NWSES Registration is Open

Next year the Intel Northwest Science Expo will be Friday, March 23rd. This is the day before Spring Break for most Oregon educational institutions. Set-up for middle school projects will be Thursday, March 22nd. We know the timing may limit the ability of some students to participate. Please make sure that students are able to attend before adding them online. Registration will close February 22nd. Tentative dates for Regional Fairs have been updated, though individual fair pages may not be current.
First postmark deadline for Intel NWSE
Submitted by Stephanie on Wed, 02/09/2011 - 11:33amToday is the deadline for the $5 registration fee for middle school projects directly entering Intel NWSE. Each Thursday the amount increases by $5 with the last day to mail March 2nd.
Required paperwork includes a signed MSEZ form for each student and a set of procedures for each project. Feel free to save paper and copy the procedures on the back of the MSEZ form.
High school projects have varying deadlines: GBSE, CWOSE and PPSSE are all due February 18th.
Online Registration Error

It should be functional now, however you can always use the direct links under For Judges, For Students or For Adult Sponsors or try viewing the site in Firefox if browsing issues arise. Please let us know if something is not working on the website.
Deadlines for Intel NWSE Middle School projects

This is a per project charge, not per person. The final deadline is March 3rd at which time the registration fee is $20 per project. See registration deadlines for the complete list.

March 4th is the last day to register online and mail forms
Submitted by Stephanie on Wed, 03/04/2009 - 12:20pmToday is the last day to add or delete a project online. You will still be able to edit project summaries and abstracts and correct spellings or change categories.
For Middle School Projects: Registration MUST be completed both online and on paper. Paper copies of the signed forms and procedures/research plan as well as a check for registration fees needs to be postmarked today March 4th.
